The Research Airport Braunschweig has its own junction on the A2 Hanover-Berlin motorway. Furthermore, the Braunschweig-Wolfsburg commercial airport is the region's traffic hub for charter and private flights. The Braunschweiger Parken GmbH research car park at the eastern end of Hermann-Blenk-Straße offers around 650 parking spaces as well as the possibility to test new technologies in the automotive sector in practice.

Lilienthal Quarter

In addition to the potential areas of the airport company and new office buildings of neighbouring companies, the Lilienthal Quarter is one of the urban development projects which are further upgrading the location step-by-step. The investor, Volksbank BraWo, wants to construct additional buildings, as Lilienthalhaus I is already being utilised to its maximum capacity. The video shows what the quarter could eventually look like.
