The Ducal Palace Museum (Schlossmuseum)

Thronsaal© Schlossmuseum Braunschweig

The Ducal Palace, an imposing 19th century building, was badly damaged in World War II and was then completely demolished in 1960. Between 2005 and 2007 the building was reconstructed using many of its original elements. The palace accomodates the »Schlossmuseum« displaying the eventful history of this Guelph Residential Palace.
